After the first week, I found out E7 is challenging. I have to take note in listening exam, read two academic articles in reading exam and find out which points I can use for writing at the same time. About speaking exam, it is an oral presentation, I think this is my first time oral presentation in English. I felt so scare and not more confidence about them.
However, there are different teachers in everyday, so I think I could not gain enough information in week 1, which makes me feel nervous. For example, this week I learned the structure about critical article. I found out it is so different to the E6 essays that we studied. I need to write the authors’ view in my body paragraphs with correct sentences and ways. Furthermore, there is a key point in writing essay “A BELT”, that is argument, bias, evidence, logic, tone and language. I have to keep these points in my mind and use them carefully. I am so confused about this and I need spent more time to finished one paragragh. And I still could not do it very well. So in this week I still have to do many practices.
Another challenge is listening, when I do note taking in listening, it is hard to find out what kind of information is important, and I can not catch the key informatiom immidiately. In my opinion, It is my vocabulary problem, so in the next few weeks, I think I must do more practices as many as I can, and use the Vocab book. Furthermore, the most important thing is that using abbreviation while taking note.
