There are numerous benefits to learning English as foreign language. English is lingus franca now. Most major world organizations and functions are administered in English, including the United Nations, Olympics, and others. Most international business is in English, and the language is often used between people form different nations. Using English that people can access to more knowledge and information, such as, internet, news, Science and so on. This is due to most of information are in English. Next, English is advancing your career because most countries in some way will do business with English speaking countries. Knowing English is the key to open the door which many new and exciting jobs in countries all over the world. Finally, learning English will give you the ability to travel to English speaking countries like the United States, Canada, England, and Australia. As well, you will be able to communicate with other people in Europe, Asia, and all over the world.
Discussion Board 2-- Diversity of languagues brings numerous benefits
I agree with Hannah. This is due to language diversity is equal to different culture, and different culture leads to different logic and customs. In my opinion, firstly, different culture can promote social development because people can change their ideas and study some advantages of other cultures. Secondly, different culture is good to economic development. When people study different culture, they can create more new ideas. For example, fashion design, architecture and advertisement. Therefore, I think the government should protect different language.
Reflection of week 3
This week, the big issue in our class is that we had got a writting test. I think the time is hard to mange because I still forgot some details and just wanted to finish it in time. After that we start to class for a final test.
Writing -- we started to prepar critical respone for two articles after the writting test in this week, but I feels it is more difficult that before. Firstly,I don not know how to chose some right words to argue author's logic, evdence,tone and language.Secondly, I am also confusing about this essay's structure because I do not know how to mix all things very well. I still do not know where I can compare tone and language. In addition, I am so worried about time because I just finished the CAT for one article with 500 words in 75 mins. However, how can I write all things for two articles and compare them with 500 words in 75 mins.
Listening -- I found some materials in ILC, but I sitll feel it is very hard. And I also watched some English TV serises that I hope they can improve my Listening and Speaking.
Speaking -- This week, we did some speaking practices. However, when I stood in front of classroom and faced all classmates, I felt very nervous. So I speaks quickly and can not face all people , and forgets what I should say suddenly. I will improve them in my oral presentation.
Reading -- we did a reading teat for new E7. I almost can not finish it and I felt its questions is not enough clear.I do not like do this test in this time because it will affect our confidence. Now I am so worried about my final reading exam.
I am worried about all things of E7 that make me feel pressure. But I think I can improve them in next week.

Week 2 Reflection
After 2nd week of E7, I felt that it is really difficult and should focus on study more hard. I still have lots of strategies i havn't finished.
Writing: The critical respone essay makes me to feel so confused and has no more confidence about my writing exam in next week.teather provided several vocabularies that can be used in writing exam. The most important thing is that there are amount of words can not use in the article, and some vocabularies use in different ways, many words can just use in positive way, and the other use in negative way. I always can't distinguish the meanings of these words, and do not how to chose them. Furthermore, there are several things I have to be careful in the writing essay.I need to use signal language and passive language in the article. Another point is reducing tense and grammar mistake.
Speaking:In the end is the oral presentation...I changed my first topic bcause the referenses are too difficult to research...However, my new topic is still too hard, this is probably the fact that i didn't do that before.Moreover, I also feels so scare that I need speaking in front of all classmates.Listening:In this week, we do some listening practises in class which is really fast than before.It seem like some news reports in TV.I can not catch all ideas about listening that I think this is an important idea when I took the notes, but it just is a question on the qustion paper and the anwser I did not catch it.That make me so confused and cannot focus on the main points for the following questions.What i should so is try to extract key information from redundant words.
